An effective and resourceful trombone instructor, Esther Armendariz teaches private and group lessons to students throughout the SF Bay Area, including Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco and Union City.
Her current teaching engagements include being trombone instructor for James Logan High School, and a coach through Music at Kohl Mansion.
She has taught masterclasses and ensembles at the Pacific Summer Music Camp, worked as a brass instructor for San Francisco Symphony's Music and Mentors, taught sectionals through the Oakland Youth Symphony, and was previously the trombone coach through Young Musician's Choral Orchestra.
Another facet of Esther's musical life is being an active chamber musician, as a founding member of Brass Over Bridges, a brass quintet of performers and educators passionate about engaging audiences both in concert and in schools.
